On your first lesson, your instructor will ask to see your driving licence and check your eyesight, you must be able to read a number plate at a minimum distance of 20.5m. This will be repeated, prior to taking the practical driving test. They will also ensure, that you have all the documentation, to enable you to take the theory and practical tests and will advise you how to apply. Mock theory tests, are available in our office.
Your instructor will teach you to drive safely as a life skill, not just to pass the driving test. They will also endeavour to give driving tuition on a wide variety of roads and in varying traffic conditions. The whole of your lesson time will be given over to your instruction, none will be used for your instructor's personal business. Your instructor will at all times behave professionally and you will be treated with respect and consideration. Your instructor will also try to avoid physical contact with you except in an emergency or in the normal course of greeting. Your instructor will safeguard and account for any monies paid in advance in respect of driving lessons or test fees.
Our current charge for a full hour lesson is £20.00. Should you give less than 24 hours notice of cancellation you will forfeit your lesson fee, likewise if your Instructor fails to attend at the appointed time, you will receive a free lesson.
